Course Objectives

  • Be able to differentiate between employee with problems and employees who cause problem and take different approaches to rehabilitate a problem employee
  • Have learned to identify 10 types difficult employees behaviour and know what cause or encourage these behaviours and take steps to discourage the occurrence
  • Acquire communicative skills needed to handle difficult encounters
  • Know their rights to take the best practice corrective action to help a difficult employee be a better team member
  • Be able to properly and lawfully handle common employee problems such as :
    o Absenteeism and frequently taking emergency and unpaid leave
    o Malingering
    o Tardiness
    o Excessive Medical Leave
    o Disobedience and unwillingness to follow SOP
    o Insubordination and
    o poor performance
